So my fellow outdoor advocates over at Adventure Tykes are taking a family vacation to Death Valley National Park for a hiking and camping extravaganza to celebrate their 2 year old son’s birthday. Lucky guy…poor Cragbaby turns 1 this weekend and all he gets is a lousy party with family and friends. Cut us some slack though – we just got finished moving across the state a couple of weeks ago and are moving across town in a couple more when we close on our new house. Plus, its not like anyone could accuse Cragbaby of being a housebound hermit – he certainly gets out more than his fair share. And with the weather as inviting as it has been recently, we’ve already got numerous trip plans in the works!
But back to Adventure Tykes…since they are out of town, they asked me if I would be willing to write a guest post on their blog about climbing with a little tyke on board. Or course I was excited to do it! I basically tweaked my previous “Rules for the Ropes” post, but added a little background info and took out some of the climber jargon. Check it out here, and leave a comment on their site so I look like I have readers… 🙂 Happy Trails 🙂
