This is such a very sweet post and I loved it. It's a GREAT way to end my day, but not before i say that I used to have a "sweet spot' out behind the old house. There was this great big ol'boulder that I liked to sit on when i wanted to be alone for a while. Eventually I took a my little girl out there. We could spy on the whole neighborhood from there & i have nice memories of that big rock... I wonder if it's still there?

Aw, I love it! I agree, there are places on this planet where we can absolutely feel God's love just wrapping around you. I felt that way on the Outer Banks in NC growing up, where we vacationed every summer. And I feel that way in Vedauwoo now. :)

Yesterday, we took baby-G climbing up near Estes Park, and for the first time, he sat and played with rocks and sticks in the sand, and I didn't have to pull them out of his mouth the whole time. It was so sweet, and he was just thrilled to be out in the mountains all afternoon. I hope he grows up with a love of nature and joy of being outside too.
